The happiest couples you know didn't get there by accident. Specialist relationship counselling, couples therapy and sexology.
A complimentary, confidential conversation with the Relationship Harmony team. We'll match you with the counsellor best suited to support you.
We work with couples and individuals who are ready for a truly thriving relationship.
From the outside, everything looks fine.
But inside, you wonder how you can feel so alone beside the person you love most.
You still care deeply about one another. And when things are good, they're really good. But when they're bad.... You miss laughing together. You miss looking forward to time together. You miss feeling like partners rather than simply sharing a life.
The happiest, strongest relationships are built deliberately.
Just as successful people invest in their health, careers and businesses, successful couples choose to invest in the quality of their relationship.
Whether you're navigating a difficult season or simply know your relationship could be better, we're here to help.
Relationship Harmony began because I couldn't find what I wanted to offer couples anywhere else — the very best in evidence-based couples therapy and sexology, under one roof.
With almost two decades of clinical practice behind me, I'm one of Australia's most qualified and experienced relationship therapists. You may have seen me on Channel 7, where I appear regularly, along with national media.
Today I lead a carefully selected team of Counsellors, Marriage Therapists and Couples Specialists, all trained in the Relationship Harmony Method.
Whether you work with me or one of our specialists, you'll get the same practical, results-focused approach that has helped thousands of couples reconnect.
Our work is grounded in decades of research in psychology, neuroscience, and the science of relationships. This isn't guesswork. It's science-backed, proven, and effective.
We use the Relationship Harmony Method, our own framework for creating lasting change. It guides you through the four key areas proven to create change — vision and clarity, connection, communication and intimacy — with each one building on the last.
The Relationship Harmony Method was built on the gold standards of couples therapy, sexology and neurobiology — including the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy — and refined across thousands of hours in the therapy room.
Most marriage counsellors in Brisbane aren't trained to address intimacy concerns. Most therapists who work on intimacy aren't trained in communication and relationship repair. Our team is different. We address both the emotional and physical sides of your relationship, so that your relationship can thrive.
Book your intake callEveryone should do this. We are really open about our sessions with Isiah, the reaction of friends is often 'oh no! That's not good'. But it shouldn't be like that, things shouldn't be falling apart before you work on them. We are firm believers that you should take preventive action.”
Before we came to therapy, I didn't think it would help us. I thought we should be able to figure it out on our own. But I've learned so much from you in our sessions. I've realised what I can do better.
We are a fairly conservative couple in our 50s and neither of us were sure what we would get out of the process. However, we found it hugely beneficial right from the first session. The exercises provided really tangible improvements. They were practical and not confronting.”
Therapy was absolutely worth the time and money we spent. I've already recommended you to a number of my friends.”
You're still sharing a home, but it feels like you're living separate lives. You love each other, but you don't feel like lovers anymore.
Every important conversation seems to end the same way. Eventually one of you gives up, changes the subject, or walks away.
Sex has become a source of arguments, tension or frustration. Maybe you've even stopped hugging and being affectionate too.
Trust has been broken. You want to know whether real change is possible, and how to rebuild what's been lost.
Every time you try to talk about what really matters, the conversation seems to end before either of you feels understood.
You wonder if you've lost the connection that once brought you together, and you're ready to find it again.
Imagine a relationship where:
This isn't about becoming a perfect couple. It's about creating a relationship you genuinely enjoy being in.
Many couples worry that therapy will just be digging up issues from the past, or talking with no results.
We work differently.
We'll give you clear advice and practical tools so that you can move forward.
Many people notice change from the very first session. They feel lighter and more hopeful. They feel relieved to finally have a way forward, and support to make the changes they want.
Here's what you get when you work with us:
A short intake conversation helps us carefully pair you with the counsellor best suited to your needs and goals.
Your counsellor won't take sides or decide who's "right." They create a structured space where you both feel heard.
You leave with practical tools, a personalised roadmap, and homework resources to support change between sessions.
Isiah walks you through how it works, what your first session looks like, and what kind of change is possible.
Here are the questions Brisbane couples most often ask us before they book.
This is one of the most common things we hear, and it's rarely a dealbreaker.
Reluctance usually isn't about not caring. It's about not wanting to be blamed, or not believing anything will change. Both are worth taking seriously, and both are things we work with all the time.
You don't need to win the argument before you speak to us. Many people start on their own, and their partner joins once they see something shifting. One person can change the direction of a relationship.
If you both still want this to work, you're right for therapy.
We work with couples in real difficulty, and couples who are doing well and want more. What matters isn't how bad things are — it's whether you're willing to do something about it.
That's what the intake call is for. We'll talk through what's happening and tell you honestly whether we can help.
Every session runs for 90 minutes. We don't do 60-minute sessions — an hour isn't long enough to do meaningful work with two people.
Most couples notice a difference from the very first session. Some see the change they came for in around six sessions. Others choose to keep going, because the more you engage with the process, the more you get out of it.
Our therapy sessions are held online, which means you can work with the therapist who's genuinely the best fit for you rather than the one closest to you. Research shows online therapy is just as effective as in-person, and most couples find it easier to fit around work and family.
We also offer in-person work through our private retreats, designed for couples who want to accelerate their progress.
Absolutely! In fact, some of our team are queer themselves.
We work with couples of all genders, sexualities, and relationship structures, including monogamous, polyamorous, and non-traditional relationships. Everyone is welcome here.
We'll share our current session fees on your complimentary intake call, along with any package options we have available.
Some private health funds offer rebates for counselling, but note that Medicare rebates aren't currently available for couples counselling in Australia.
Most couples wait far too long before getting support.
They tell themselves they're just busy, that things will improve once work settles down, the children get older, or life becomes less stressful…
By then, small frustrations have often grown into painful resentments.
The best time to take action is now.
Whether you're in Brisbane city, the suburbs, or anywhere across South East Queensland, your relationship deserves better, and so do you.
We look forward to supporting you.
